The next Tiger Woods–Landon my son!!!

My wife was out of town this weekend so I had the opportunity to play some ball in the backyard with Landon. In case you didn’t know he is an aspiring golfer just like myself. If you missed his video debut when he was one here it is

Photo Fun in Panama City

One of the highlights of my vacation to the beach last week was challenging myself to get the perfect shot of some of the birds that were at the beach. I had so much fun!!! I finally had a chance Tuesday evening to search through some of those shots and I found a few Gems. Below is my absolute favorite!!! This shot will be one I frame for my office! Very Cool!

Micah & Jessica Engagement

Well I wanted to give a shout out to my cousin Micah for popping the big question. The good part is Jessica said yes to him. Way to go bro! He had it all planned out. He went out to dinner ate a 30 dollar steak and threw up before he made it to the car because he was so nervous (I remember having the same thing happen to me). After that he took her to Walmart to stall because my mom had not finished the setup on the beach. Then it was on! He took her down to the beach where I had the privilege to shoot some beautiful photos of them.

Then it was the BIG QUESTION TIME

The best part about all of this was she had NO clue I was even taking pictures. After she had the ring on the sunset was gorgeous so I took a few bonus ones for them

Panama City Update

Well I found some free WIFI out at my condo so I figured I would post one of the pics of have taken this week in Panama City.  Don’t worry this is just one of the 4000 pictures I have taken.  I love this one.  I have to say that I have loved shooting photos at the beach.  I just may move to Florida and start a business down here.  Anyways let me get this published before the room I am stealing the signal from decides to shut it down.  More updates on this week are coming including my first engagement photo shoot.  Lots of fun.

Worship Service at Riverstone Youth Group

My really good friend Cory Hallett is a youth pastor in Kennesaw Georgia at Riverstone Wesleyan Fellowship. I got a call a few weeks ago from Cory asking me if I wanted to come and shoot some photos of their evening. Well I took him up on the offer and experimented with shooting in a pretty dark room with stage lighting. I must say it was a challenge to get that perfect shot. I probably shot 600 pics. I really enjoyed shooting in this environment. I am really looking forward to doing more concerts and worship events like this in the future. Cory will be using some of these photos for publicity. Bart, Wendy, & Bart Hammock–Photo Editing 101

I want you to meet Jessica’s oldest brother Bart his wife Wendy and their crazy son Little Bart.  I wanted to add some of the other photos that Jessica took while she was down in locust grove to show you the difference of a non edited photo and one that I edited.  The top photo has had no editing done to it.  This is what the pictures looked like before I edited them in Photoshop CS3 in camera raw mode.  Look at the difference.  Now hopefully you understand why photographers charge for their work.  There is much more involved in beautiful photography than just clicking a button.

Katie going skydiving

Well Katie going skydiving may not be the best title because she really sat around all afternoon waiting on the rain to pass.  While they were waiting Jessica snapped some photos of the kids and adults.  I have to say that Katie is crazy for wanting to jump out of a perfectly good airplane.  Her jump has been rescheduled for saturday september 20.  You can bet that I will try to be there to capture every moment for her.  To see all the images click HERE

London & Brett

These two pictures are adorable.  I have the cutest little nephews.  London is the top one and Brett is the lower one.  Jessica shot these and I edited them.  She did a great job.  

 

 

Fun with the kids

Well tonight me and my wonderful kids went to the park for a while and then it was Friday night ICE CREAM!! My wife was having a jewelry party so we ventured out on our own. We had an awesome time. I Love my kids. I think my kids are getting tired of me snapping photos of them but I am addicted to my new hobby. Below are some of the creative shots I took tonight.  Notice the snot on Landon’s face!!!!
