Here in Canton, GA we have a National Cemetery for our fallen hero’s. I took the wife and kids up there on Wednesday evening for a little site seeing and remembrance. As I walked around looking at the Markers of the men and women who gave their lives for our freedom I was humbled to the reality that we live in a free country. Freedom was and is not free for some. Some gave all. Some will give all. Thank you so much! If you have a friend or family member who serves as a protector of our freedom make sure you take the time to tell them how grateful you are for their sacrifice. View all
While we were at the family reunion the other day I met Sabella. She was a gorgeous little girl. I just could not resist breaking out the camera and taking her pics. Below are a couple of my favorites. You can view all of them by clicking HERE
This past weekend we traveled to north georgia for the Stancil family reunion. There are 2 pages of pics so make sure you view both pages.
I could not resist having a little fun while my wife was driving home from our family reunion. I took out my new camera and starting taking photos. At first it was terrible. Every picture was either really fuzzy or just plane dull. Well then I figured it out. Below is one of my favorites. Keep in mind my wife is driving about 80 on I-85 North of Atlanta. I am really loving this photography thing. If you want to know shutter speeds and aperture let me know. To view the others click HERE ENJOY!
This blog is a post from my iPhone. I am experimenting with this one so that if I can post without logging into my account. Basically this let’s me post directly from my phone which is pretty amazing. Can you believe that technology has advanced to the stage where I can do without wifi or a computer. Amazing!
Well as many of you may know I have decided to take up photography as a new hobby and maybe eventually turn it into a part time career. I enjoy capturing moments in life that sometime we pass right by. I just purchased a Canon 30D this past Saturday and I absolutely love it. I have already had a blast shooting with it the last couple of days. I started with some visual art that you can see here. Then I thought I would really challenge myself so I decided to set up the hummingbird feeder in the back yard to see if I could get the perfect shot of a hummingbird. Well I still haven’t achieved that perfect shot yet but here is a link to view my attempt at the perfect shot. Of course I really wanted to take some live action of people so I took my camera to church on sunday and captured these shots. All in all I am pleased with this new camera. I look forward to posting more creative fun later. Enjoy LIFE you only have one to live. Daniel
Well I have almost accomplished one more Powerplant event. This week has really flown by. I have to say that this project has been one of the most rewarding projects I have ever PC’d. My summer staff was absolutely incredible. I will post some photos later of the week. I miss my family like crazy. I have the greatest wife in the world. She is truly an amazing woman! Sweetheart I love you so much.
Here is a picture of the group we worked with this week in Phoenix. Guys thank you so much for all of your hard work. I know the churches you worked with this week are grateful for everything you have done. Now it’s time to start thinking about our mission team coming from Florida in 2 weeks to help us out with our church plant in Canton. I am looking forward to that.
